July Empties – Part 1 (P50P Pt 5)

As you may have guessed by the title, I have a lot of empties this month. Which is probably because I haven’t posted about any of my empty beauty products since April (oops). I’ve split this into two posts to spread things out a little bit, and this is the first half of my recent empties. Better late than never, right?

17: Paula’s Choice Moisture Boost Essential Hydrating Toner – This was something different for me as I’m usually faithful to the Hydralight range from Paula’s Choice, but it was a nice change. I found that using this toner resulted in a noticeable difference in the hydration of my skin, so it’s definitely something I’ll be reaching for during cold weather months in the future.

18: Original Source Shower Gel in Coconut & Shea Butter – These are my favourite “bang for your buck” shower gels because they’re inexpensive and decent quality for the price. This is Sebastian’s go-to, as it smells sweet and a little bit like something you’d want to eat. It’s also worth noting that these products are vegan, which I know will be appealing to quite a few people out there.

19: Garnier Hydra Bomb Tissue Mask – I got this as a free sample with a Coles online grocery order, and was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. I’ve been converted to using sheet masks in winter, mostly because you don’t have to fuss around with washing anything off of your face once you’re done. This mask gave my skin an obvious hydration boost, and I would definitely consider purchasing more in the future.

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla – This is my current holy grail concealer. I’m not including it in my Project 50 Pan tally because I repurchased it as soon as the tube ran out. I really love this product but the packaging does my head in. It’s impossible to get all of the product out, so it ends up feeling very wasteful.

20: Sunsilk Addictive Brilliant Shine Conditioner – This is one half of one of my favourite drug store brand shampoo/conditioner duos. I don’t have much to say about this other than it does the job it’s supposed to do and it’s reasonably priced.
