Thoughts of the week…

01) You may or may not have noticed that I took a little unannounced hiatus from blogging last month. Sometimes you just need a break, and I had a lot going on in my personal life so it was a good time for me to step back and take a breather. Where this blog will go in 2016 is still uncertain for me, but I’ll just go with the flow and see where my motivation takes me.
02) The Christmas season is well and truly underway, which excites me greatly. Last night we ventured into the city (our main goal being DUMPLINGS for dinner), and took a little detour to look at the Christmas lights projection in Forrest Place. Gorgeous.
03) Serial pulled a Beyonce on everyone and dropped the first episode of season two without announcing that it was coming.
04) Why didn’t anyone tell me how great the Seth MacFarlane Christmas album is? He even covers one of my all time favourite carols.
05) Jimmy Fallon, Adele, and The Roots sing ‘Hello’
06) Speaking of Adele, this cemented my love for her.
07) In beauty news, I decided to treat myself and purchased one of the Charlotte Tilbury eyes to hypnotise duos (in On The Prowl), and the quality is A+++++. Worth picking up if you have a minimal makeup collection and want top quality products in your rotation.
08) Is Star Wars out yet?
