Man, if I could turn back time I would happily go back to last year where I had three whole months off work. Three glorious months. Instead, I will swelter my way through another working summer and hate every second of it. There is no denying my hatred of summer, but one way I’ve found to help make it slightly enjoyable is to write a “bucket list” of things I want to do.
– Make sweet tea on the weekends
– Grill out on the BBQ on nice evenings
– Go for walks along the beach on weekends
– Get a professional pedicure
– Host a dinner party
– Work on the garden to make it “summer BBQ” friendly
– Go down south for a long weekend
– Swim as much as possible
– Go to Adelaide for a mini holiday
– Go to the Wanneroo Show
– Watch the movies on my Halloween ‘to-watch’ list
– Make a summer-y music playlist to listen to while driving
– Read all the books on my summer reading list
– Try fake tanning

Hopefully I can get around to ticking all of these off of my list, the last time I wrote one I only managed to complete a handful of them. Wish me luck!
