November Goals

First up, let’s take a look at how I went with last month’s goals

Work as much overtime as possibleAs it turned out there was only one weekend in the month of November that I didn’t work overtime, and that was because I booked a few days of leave and wanted to make the most of the break. At this stage, it’s unlikely I’ll be able to take any time off for a few months (due to workload), so I didn’t want to have anything disturb my ‘last hurrah’ of relaxation.
Work on the garden to make it “summer BBQ” friendlyI started tackling the weeds in the back yard, and removed a few plants that had not survived the winter. I still have quite a way to go, but baby steps is the plan at this stage.
Participate in the SpookathonYou can read my Spookathon Wrap Up here
Watch the movies on my Halloween ‘to-watch’ listI only managed to cross 2 movies off my to watch list, as Sebastian went away for the weekend and I was in too much of a spook to watch anything remotely scary
Go to Adelaide for a mini holidayThis didn’t eventuate for me purely due to financial reasons. I have a lofty savings goal that I’m trying to reach by the end of the year, and I couldn’t justify the cost of flights for a three day holiday
Make a summer-y music playlist to listen to while driving
Cook something from the Donna Hay ‘seasons’ cookbook

As you can see I didn’t do too badly for my first month returning to monthly goal setting. Here are my goals for this month… Wish me luck!

– Participate in the #aroundtheworldathon
– Write my Christmas planning timeline
– Continue working on the garden to make it “summer BBQ” friendly
– Clean out the pantry/fridge/freezer
– Go to the Wanneroo Show
– Sort out my Spring/Summer wardrobe
